Preparation - Buying A Central Florida Home

When making the decision to buy a Central Florida home it would be very smart to start making preparations.  Here are a few tips and advice in preparing to buy a Central Florida home.

Create a home buying file that includes:

•     Financial statements

•     Bank accounts

•     Investments

•     Credit card

•     Auto loans

•     Recent pay stubs

•     Tax returns for two years

Check your credit on all three credit reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian and Trans Union. If there are errors in credit reporting now would be the time to fix the errors before buying a home.  Your credit score will determine if you are able to buy a home and in what price range.  Remember the better your credit score is the better your terms and costs will be. 

Be cautious in making life changes at the time you are considering buying a home.  A job change, charging large amounts on your credit or buying a car can and will have an impact on your credit.  If you are serious about buying a home, do not do anything that will impact your credit rating and score.
