Spences Pointe is a non-gated lakefront community in Gotha Florida. Spences Point is located on the Western shore of Lake Rose. The community’s entrance sign is very small. You can find it directly across from Woodland Memorial Park.

If you are not from this area Lake Rose is 7.5 miles due West of downtown Orlando Florida. Lake Rose is a 94-acre lake that is well known for being a beautiful and clean lake. There are several communities on its’ shoes and many beautiful homes.

Spences Point contains only 10 homes and 1 lot which is used for community drainage. One of these homes actually have the garage below ground level. If you have not been in this community you will be surprised as some of the unique things about it. The homes are traditional Florida homes but set higher than most lakefront homes in central Florida. Three of the 5 homes that are actually lakefront have some really great views which include a waterfront sunrise. The homes vary in size from 2,428 square feet to 3,958 square feet of living area. The subdivision was constructed between 1987 and 1990.

Market history for Spences Pointe looks encouraging. In the last 5 years 5 homes have sold. That is really close to the average for this area. The lowest priced home was sold for $303,000 and the highest priced home was sold for $600,000. It was one of the nicer homes but certainly did not have one of the better lots.

Living in Gotha Florida brings with it a relaxed lifestyle. It also brings with it some nearby activities and towns with all of the modern conveniences we are used to. Within 2 miles there is a shopping mall, movie theater, Hospital, Walmart Supercenter and a Lowes Hardware. Not bad for a small waterfront community. Spences Pointe homes for sale are definitely worth consideration.
