Lake Fischer Estates is a community of homes in Gotha Florida. It is located on the North shore of Fischer Lake. The lake is a very small lake but the community can be easily found. It is located on the South side of Old Winter Garden on the East side of the 408. There is only one entrance and it is on Carolina Ave. The community is surrounded by a red brick wall.

Lake Fischer Estates is a gated community of approximately 84 homes and has an open area park and community pier on Fischer Lake. There are 9 lakefront homes and several more that are lakeview. This is one of the nicer communities in Gotha. Nearly half of the homes have their own pools and the community is very well maintained. The homes were built in sizes ranging from approximately 2,216 square feet to well over 5,000 square feet of living area. Normally having all of the homes over 2,000 square feet is one of the requirements for being called a luxury home community. Lake Fischer Estates does have some luxury homes and is one of the finest communities in Gotha.

The neighborhood was built starting in 1998 and most of the homes were completed by 2004. In the last 5 years homes here have sold for prices ranging from $200,000 up to $587,500. There have been 26 homes sell which is a little over 5 homes per year on average. This is a very normal percentage of sales for a steady community.

At first glance it is easy to miss how good the location of Lake Fischer Estates is. Health Central Hospital, Walmart Supercenter, Lowes Hardware, The West Oaks Mall and the AMC 14 West Oaks Theater are all within a 5-minute drive. When you combine that with the ability to commute because of the local roads Lake Fischer Estates is a great place to live.
