A quote from a newspaper article below from Jacqueline Siegel made myself take a second look at one of the areas most remarkable properties that has been under construction for the past few years but for now lets forget the home ! I wanted to draw your attention to something far more import......that quote "I would have given all the money in the world to get our daughter back,But that wasn't possible. The Queen of Versailles as Jacqueline is known and her husband David Siegal truly are an inspirational couple.Their home has been the subject of so much on line and media controversy over the years but why we will never know but one thing for sure their lives are like a roller coaster with happiness and heartbreak thrown in the mix. So with that all said and reflecting on their tragic loss and something which is close to the heart of many parents myself included , I wanted to highlight their charity and encourage you all to read more about the content contained within.The statistics are shocking. The effects are terrible upon a family and friends and sadly this is a very emotive subject not only among normal working class families but right across the spectrum .
We came to these shores ourselves almost 15 years ago to try and make a better live for ourselves ,we came to seek out the American dream willing to work extremely hard and do whatever it took to be successful .
The American Dream is the ideal that the government should protect each person's opportunity to pursue their own idea of happiness.The Declaration of Independence protects this American Dream. It uses the familiar quote: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.The Declaration continued, “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."The Founding Fathers put into law the revolutionary idea that each person's desire to pursue happiness was not just self-indulgence. It was a part of what drives ambition and creativity. By legally protecting these values, the Founding Fathers set up a society that was very attractive for those aspiring to a better life. So with that said we get fed up of those knocking the family and their astonishing success and accomplished goals. Clearly the family are fighters and embrace the American dream, The writer for one can only admire the family and all that they have achieved .....
