After a very hectic couple of months in Europe combining Business travel with some sightseeing I am finally heading back over to Orlando Florida arriving this coming Tuesday.Had a great time getting to see my family and old friends. It was also very interesting to see the UK housing market especially London which in recent times could only be described as Insane.
The UK housing market is clearly at the weakest point since the global financial crisis of over a decade ago as Brexit uncertainty puts off buyers .Fewer houses were sold in the UK in the first half of 2019 than at any point since the first half of 2009.The declines have been led by London, where prices have fallen after years of rapid inflation. The average price of London homes sold fell by 32%, to £2.1m, in the first half of 2019 compared with the previous year. Companies I visited shifted towards less expensive homes to make up for a weakness in “prime properties” – those worth more than about £3m.Thats a totally different picture as depicted by my most recent Market Report for Orlando.
So with that said its now time to catch up with Never The Bride in London this evening enjoy the Gig then its Planes Trains and Automobiles over the next 24 hours and back to the Sunshine State
