Turnbury Woods is a community in Orlando Florida.

Turnbury woods is located East of Lake Blanche and on the East side of South Apopka Vineland Rd. The entrance is clearly marked and you can enter it whether you are North or Southbound on S Apopka Vineland Rd.

The main entrance road is Bay Ridge Blvd. One of the great things about this community is that it has 10 cul-de-sacs. That means a large percentage of the homes have irregular and larger lots than the other homes. The neighborhood is deceptively large and much nicer than most people think who just drive by its’ main entrance. This community would easily compare to some of the gated more exclusive ones in the area. The homes in Turnbury Woods range in size from approximately 2,368 sf. to 8,111 sf of living area. Those are very respectable numbers for any central Florida community. There are no townhomes or condos in the neighborhood.

This is Dr. Phillips Florida and there is always something to do bear your home. The Dr. Phillips YMCA and the LA Fitness center at the Grove are both very close to Turnbury Woods. That eliminated the need for a community pool or park for most neighborhoods in the area. Not to mention Volcano Bay, Islands of Adventure or Universals Orlando Resort is just minutes from your doorstep

Most of the homes in Turnbury Woods were built between 1984 and 1987.

This has allowed enough time to fill the community with large beautiful trees. There is also a pond on the Northern side but only a handful of homes have water view. 

Local shopping is likely going to be done at The Grove shopping center just to the North. If higher end shopping or a trip to the local mall is what you are after some of the best malls in Orlando are only about 10 minutes away. Turnbury Woods has much more going for it than beautiful homes for sale.
