St Andrews

St. Andrews is a Metrowest Orlando Florida community. St. Andrews is located on the north side of the Ronald Reagan Florida Turnpike and the south side of West Pointe Blvd. The entrance is clearly marked and can be found at the roundabout. This is a non-gated community of very nice homes with several other similar communities nearby. To the east approximately 7.25 miles is the business district of downtown Orlando Florida.

St. Andrews is a community of 138 traditional single-family homes. There are no condos or townhomes here. The homes were built between 1993 and 1997. The homes vary in sizes from 1,824 square feet to 3,812 and the average yard size is approximately .2 acres.  A home is sold to a happy new owner on average 8 times every year. That is exactly the number to be expected in a stable Metrowest community.

Shopping for groceries from your new home in St. Andrews will likely be at the Publix Supermarket which is less than 2 miles away at Metrowest Village. There are a few more stores and restaurants there or you can be a t a Walmart Supercenter also in Metrowest which is only about one mile further away. The Supercenter has quite a few stores and shops in its’ complex and is definitely worth checking out.

S. Apopka Vineland Road is just to the west of St. Andrews. This is the road you will likely take to dining out or visiting Universal Orlando Resort. Even if you do not like Universal you will be pleased to hear that the best shopping malls in Orlando are located next to it and there is a Bass Pro Shops there.
